  • Which services provided are included under the GHS (GESY)?
    The following service providers are with the GHS (GESY), as long as the service that will be provided is included in the GHS package: 1) Personal and Family Doctor 2) General Surgeon 3) Plastic Surgeon 4) Vascular Surgeon 5) Orthopedic Surgeon 6) Dietitian/Sportician 7) Laboratory 8) Nursing
  • Which services provides are not included in the GHS (GESY)?
    The following services are private and not included in the GHS (GESY): 1) Endocrinology 2) Speech and language therapy 3) Psychology
  • Can I visit a specialist doctor in GHS (GESY) without a referral from my Personal Doctor?
    Yes you can visit a specialist doctor without a referral from your Personal Doctor, however the fee that you will have to pay will be 25 euros instead of 6 euros if you have a referral. Within the visit the specialist doctor can refer you for any investigations required and these will be through the GHS system without additional costs. Also within the visit the specialist doctor can request a long term referral from your personal doctor if it is required for further visits.
  • Does Ethos Medical Center have access and facilities for patients with disabilities?
    Ethos Medical Center has an easy access and full facilities for patients with disabilities, including wheelchair. Please ask the front desk for assistance.
  • Can I be seen even if my Personal Family Doctor is not available?
    If your Personal Doctor is away and you have an urgent concern that cannot wait until he or she is available, you may schedule an appointment with the On-Call physician who is covering for your physician. You may also schedule an appointment with the After Hours Clinic regarding acute issues, that cannot wait until the next day. For more assistance contact the front desk.
  • What do I do when the Personal Doctor Office is closed?
    If you want to see your Personal Doctor or seek medical assistance outside working hours, on weekends or on public holidays then you have two options: 1) Contact the on-call Personal Doctor from 11am to 5pm. Information about contact details can be found on www.gesy.org.cy 2) Attend the closest A&E Department
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
