Dr. Demetris Christou studied at the University of Leicester Medical School in the United Kingdom. He also has a special love for the education of medical students and the younger doctors. He has been teaching since 2012 at the Medical School of the University of Nicosia and St George's University of London Medical School, where he has received the title of Clinician Instructor. Since 2021 he is the founder and CEO of ETHOS MEDICAL CENTRE, a pioneer group of practice, which aims in providing the highest medical standards for the patients in Cyprus. Dr Christou actively practices the specialty of General and Laparoscopic Surgery and effectively performs the entire range of general surgeries with focus at minimally invasive surgery and special interest at bariatric/obesity surgery.
